    Hello,
    You mentioned the 1850 cencus and the Hagenbuch family in Salem, Champaign County Ohio. I’m interested in Sophia Friend who is listed in the same household. She married my 4th great grandfather, Heber Freeman in 1852. They were wed in West Liberty, just 3.8 miles up the road from Salem. In your research, did you come across any information about her, or was she just a passing curiosity? Any information you might have would be helpful.

      Sophia Friend born in PA, she married Heber Freeman Nov 1852 Logan, Ohio
      1860 census lived in Scott, Mahaska, Iowa
      1862 Per Obit, arrived in Kansas
      1875 census the family lived in Lincoln, Washington, Kansas with 8 children
      1880 census lived in Lincoln, Washington, Kansas
      June 05, 1913 Died in Kansas, there is a newspaper obit clipping available
